11 freelancers under Kebayoran Baru Sub-district, South Jakarta have cleaned up garbage in a connecting channel, Jalan Dharmawangsa Raya, Pulo Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district.

South Jakarta Water Agency Zone Management Unit (UPK), Lince said the channel has three meters width. The cleaning is done to minimize garbage from box culverts and to smoothen water flow.

The channel is long enough, which is from Jalan Cipete Raya and ends to Krukut River. Hence, his side always monitors the channel to assure water flow and garbage in the culvert.
"We routinely send three officers every day. They will monitor the channel to keep it clean," he closed.
